Log grabs for logs and branches
For green maintenance, in agriculture and forestry, Tecnobenne log grabs allow you to move logs and branches easily and safely. Starting from the general catalogue, it is possible to distinguish two categories, for light and heavy uses.
Log grabs for trunks and branches POTB L and POTB LL are ideal for small farms, maintenance of green areas and individual clients. The light series are entirely made of steel S355. They can be mounted on self-propelled wheeled excavators, excavators and trucks with crane. On the POTB L model – without blade – it is possible to mount the clamshell bucket kit and removable teeth kit.
The heavy series, POTB M and POTB H models, have the body made of S355 steel, while tines are made of highly yield-resistant material. The check control valve is also standard. These timber grabs for logs and branches are specifically designed to perform for long hours and heavy loads.
Handling logs and branches with custom-made log grabs
Tecnobenne sells custom-made log grabs for handling logs and branches. Analyzing client’s needs, as well as the machine on which the equipment will be mounted on, the company is able to prepare a tailor-made offer. Trucks with cranes, excavators or self-propelled, with horizontal cylinders, every detail is defined.
The body of these hydraulic equipment is made of steel S355. On the other hand, parts most subjected to tensile stress are made of material with a high yield strength, such as the arms. Super-strength models are available on request, with increased carpentry thicknesses.
Thanks to the internal warehouse and to the experience accumulated over the years by the assembly line, once the technical studies related to the project have been completed, the company is able to process orders within a few working days. The customization of the project allows to choose colours and related accessories such as: bushing to be welded, bushing to be flanged, hydraulic rotator, mechanical rotator, pistons rotator, custom made suspension link and the max valve (to be mounted on the machine).
